Beti Bike Bash
FROM FIRST TIMERS TO SEASONED PROS, WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU.
Mountain Bike Racing is traditionally very male dominated. One of the missions of the Beti Bike Bash is to change that by providing a welcoming, encouraging, and challenging environment to open the door of possibility and get more women and junior girls on bikes and participating in events all over the country. Any person who identifies as female is welcome to sign-up.

CATEGORIES
WHICH CATEGORY SHOULD I ENTER??
Maybe this is your billionth race and you’re a seasoned vet, maybe you rode a bike without training wheels for the first time last week. Our mission is to accommodate everyone! We have a number of race categories to choose from so you can be riding with athletes of a similar level.
The best part about bikes is support and camaraderie. Please sign up for the category that you think you belong in—there’s no point in “sandbagging” just to win a race. If you have any questions about where you belong, please don’t hesitate to send us an email!
[NOTE: Your race age is your age on the day of the event.]
beginner
New to Racing? Our Beginner Category is for You!
If you’re curious about racing or just starting your mountain biking journey, you’ve found the perfect place. Our beginner category is a friendly and supportive environment where women of all experience levels are welcome. Many participants in this category will be experiencing their first race, so you’ll be in good company!
Important Note: If you’re new to racing but have been mountain biking for a while or feel ready for a longer distance, please feel free to choose any category and distance that suits your comfort level. We encourage you to challenge yourself where you feel ready!
new mom
We know so many of you are off the bike during your pregnancy and many more months after. We still want you to participate and be a part of this special day. While we aren’t checking dates on birth certificates, if you have a little one at home under the age of 18 months, this is your category! If you’ve looked at your dusty mountain bike in your garage and wondered when you are going to get back out, this is your chance! Get on the start line with the other hard-working, sleep-deprived moms and be cheered on by your husbands, wives, other moms, grandparents, and kiddos! Same distance as the Beginner and Never Ever racers.
sport / singlespeed
Typically our most popular category. You have raced a few times, you might be on a race team. You are also at home in this category if you feel like you are rocking some fitness and want to push yourself for the longer event. You are confident that 12 miles can be ridden non-stop and enjoy a good challenge from a shorter mile race. First-time racers are still welcome in this category. Race times of ~50 minutes to 1:20.
[JUNIOR trail rippers are more than welcome to sign up for this race!]
Expert/Open/Pro
This is not your first rodeo. You are ready for the top end challenge you know how to slay on a mountain bike or gravel bike and you are ready to toe the line with other women ready to battle. Race times of ~60 minutes to 1:30.
[High School League racers are more than welcome to sign up for this race!]
bitty beti (Girls 8-12)
If your rider is new to riding/racing and is 12 and under this is a great introduction to the thrill or racing. We don’t mind if parents or supporters are out on course with the riders.
If your daughter can handle the adults course she is more than welcome to race in the 14 and Under category.

Your registration includes a rad race tee, lunch, a beer in the sun, and a kick a** community of like-minded individuals and new friends!
